Ouchi Kimono Rental
We at the Shimogo-machi Tourism Organization are pleased to offer a kimono rental service. Our motto is, "Enjoy Ouchi-juku in kimono!"
Walking through the historic streets of Ouchi-juku in a kimono will make you feel like you've traveled back in time.
It also makes for amazing photos!
Rental Fee
Our kimono rental service comes as a set that includes a kimono or yukata, obi belt, and traditional satchel, so you'll have everything you need to enjoy the town!
Our staff will dress you in the kimono, there's no need to worry even if you've never worn a kimono before.
For men, we only have yukata (casual kimono) available.

How to Request and Use Our Kimono Rental Service
- Make a reservation by email or by phone
- Next, have an appointment at our shop in the Ouchi-juku parking lot (near the entrance).
- Select your kimono, relax while our staff dresses you in the kimono, and rent geta sandals (please purchase your own tabi socks)
- Payment
- Rental (2 hours)
